This is a high-contrast serif italic with a pronounced rightward slant and crisp, bracketed serifs. Strokes show a calligraphic construction with tapered terminals, sharp entry/exit strokes, and an angled stress that gives rounded letters a lively, diagonal rhythm. Uppercase forms are relatively restrained and classical, while the lowercase is more expressive, with flowing joins, a single-storey a, and distinctive italic shapes such as a looping g and a long, descendered f. Numerals follow the same italic logic, with strong thick–thin modulation and elegant, curved forms that read well at display sizes.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazines, book interiors, and pull quotes where an italic voice needs to feel traditional yet vivid. It can also work for invitations, packaging, and branding that aims for a classic, upscale impression. Best results will come in headlines, short passages, or well-leaded text where its contrast and long descenders have room to breathe.

The tone is refined and literary, evoking traditional book typography and formal editorial design. Its energetic slant and crisp contrast add a sense of motion and sophistication, lending emphasis without feeling ornamental. Overall it feels polished, classic, and suited to high-end, text-forward contexts.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-contrast serif italic that provides an elegant companion voice for emphasis and display, balancing classical proportions with a distinctly calligraphic italic flow. It prioritizes refined texture, sharp detailing, and a lively diagonal stress to convey sophistication in print-like layouts.

The rhythm is driven by narrow apertures and pointed joins, producing a slightly sharper texture than many oldstyle italics. Descenders are notably long (especially in f, g, y), which adds elegance but benefits from generous leading in multi-line settings. The capitals maintain a dignified presence, pairing cleanly with the more animated lowercase.
