A monolinear slab-serif design with sturdy, blocky forms and generous, typewriter-like spacing. Strokes are low-contrast and mostly uniform, with blunt terminals and compact, squared counters that keep letterforms dark and emphatic. The outlines are intentionally irregular, showing worn edges, slight wobble, and ink-spread textures that vary from glyph to glyph while maintaining consistent set width and overall rhythm.

Well suited to headlines, pull quotes, posters, and book or album covers where texture and atmosphere matter as much as legibility. It also fits themed branding and packaging, as well as film/theater props and UI moments that aim to evoke stamped or typed material. For longer text, it works best at comfortable sizes where the distressed edges don’t fill in.

The face conveys an analog, workmanlike tone—part archival document, part noir ephemera. Its worn imprint and uneven edges suggest age, friction, and physical process, lending a gritty authenticity that feels more found than polished.

Designed to emulate the visual artifacts of mechanical typing and aged printing—uneven ink transfer, worn metal, and imperfect alignment—while preserving a straightforward, workhorse structure. The goal is to deliver an immediately recognizable typed voice with added grit and character for evocative display and editorial use.

Round letters like O and Q appear slightly squashed and imperfect, reinforcing the distressed print effect, while diagonals (V, W, X) stay heavy and stable. Numerals match the same rugged imprint, reading clearly while retaining the same chipped, inked-in texture.
