A slanted serif with crisp, bracketed terminals and a gently calligraphic construction. Strokes stay relatively even in thickness with subtle modulation, and the italic angle is consistent across caps, lowercase, and numerals. Proportions are compact with a notably small x-height, giving the lowercase a tall, elegant silhouette; ascenders are prominent and some letters show flowing, slightly curved entry/exit strokes. Counters are fairly open and the spacing rhythm feels tight but controlled, supporting continuous text while still reading as distinctly italic.

Well suited to book and long-form editorial settings where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, quotations, or secondary typographic layers. It can also work for refined subheads, captions, and pull quotes where a classic, literate tone is desired without heavy stroke contrast.

The overall tone is literary and traditional, with an editorial polish. Its slant and sculpted serifs add a sense of motion and sophistication, while the restrained contrast keeps it grounded and readable. The impression is serious and cultured rather than playful.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic with a classic, bookish flavor—prioritizing steady rhythm and legibility while preserving the expressive cues of italic writing. Its compact proportions and controlled detailing suggest it is meant to read smoothly in paragraphs while still signaling emphasis clearly.

Uppercase forms remain classical and upright in structure despite the slant, while the lowercase carries more of the handwritten energy through curved joins and tapered terminals. Numerals follow the same italic logic and feel integrated with the text, suited to running figures rather than purely tabular presentation.
