This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with sharp, tapered terminals and subtly flared stroke endings that give many letters a sculpted, calligraphic feel. Serifs are small and bracketed, with wedge-like entry and exit strokes that sharpen the texture without becoming spiky. Bowls and curves are smooth and generously proportioned, while capitals carry a stately, slightly expansive presence; the overall rhythm alternates between sturdy verticals and fine hairlines for a crisp, high-definition color. Lowercase forms stay conventional and readable, with a tidy, rounded “a,” a compact-shouldered “r,” and a single-storey “g” featuring a prominent ear and strong contrast.

It performs best in headlines, decks, pull quotes, and magazine-style typography where its contrast and sharp detailing can be appreciated. It also suits book covers, cultural branding, and luxury-oriented identity systems that want a classic serif voice with a slightly contemporary edge. For longer passages, it will be most comfortable at sizes and printing conditions that preserve its fine strokes.

The tone is polished and literary, balancing classical bookishness with a fashion-forward sharpness. High contrast and pointed terminals create a sense of drama and precision, suggesting sophistication rather than warmth or casualness. Overall it reads as premium and composed, suited to content that wants to feel curated and authoritative.

The design appears intended to deliver a modernized, high-contrast serif with flared, calligraphic terminals—pairing traditional proportions with a sharper, more editorial finish. It prioritizes elegance and presence, aiming for a distinctive typographic texture that stands out in display and premium publication contexts.

In text, the fine hairlines and sharp terminals produce a bright, sparkling surface, especially at larger sizes. The numerals follow the same contrast-driven logic and feel display-oriented, with open counters and crisp joins that echo the caps.
