A serif italic with a carved inline running through the primary strokes, creating a hollowed, engraved effect. The letterforms lean with a steady rhythm and show moderate thick–thin modulation, with pointed terminals and crisp, bracketed serifs that read as sharp and slightly flared. Curves are compact and taut, while joins and diagonals are clean and slightly calligraphic, giving the set a lively, patterned texture. The inline is consistently placed and follows the contours of bowls, stems, and diagonals, adding a second contour that increases sparkle at larger sizes.

Best suited to display applications such as headlines, posters, book covers, and branding where the inline carving can be appreciated. It can also work for packaging and editorial pull quotes when set large with comfortable spacing, but is less appropriate for long-form reading at small sizes.

The inline detailing and italic slant evoke a vintage, print-forward mood—part engraving, part classic show-card lettering. It feels refined and dramatic, with a hint of theatrical flourish that suits attention-grabbing headlines without becoming overly ornate.

The design appears intended to merge classic serif italic structure with an inline, engraved embellishment, producing a decorative display voice that feels historic and crafted. The consistent internal carving suggests a focus on creating depth and motion within otherwise traditional forms.

In text settings, the internal white line adds visual noise that can reduce clarity at small sizes, while at larger sizes it contributes a distinctive striped shimmer. Numerals and capitals carry the same carved treatment, supporting cohesive titling and short, emphatic phrases.
