A slab-serif, typewriter-like design with blunt terminals and sturdy, rectangular serifs. The letterforms are upright and generally open, with a slightly loose, mechanical rhythm typical of monospaced-inspired shapes, while individual strokes show irregular edges and mottled ink spread. Counters and joins appear subtly eroded, creating a broken-print texture without collapsing legibility. Numerals follow the same blocky, stamped construction, and overall spacing reads consistent in text despite the distressed contours.

Works best for headlines, title treatments, and short-to-medium text where a vintage, rough-printed voice is desired—such as posters, album or book covers, editorial pull quotes, and packaging. It can also support UI labels or captions when the goal is to signal analog authenticity, though the texture will be more prominent on small sizes and low-resolution outputs.

The texture evokes worn ribbon impressions, aged photocopies, and imperfect letterpress or stamp printing. It carries an archival, investigative tone—practical and utilitarian, but with a gritty, humanized feel from the uneven ink and softened edges.

The design appears intended to mimic a classic typewriter/slab-serif structure while introducing realistic wear from ink bleed and degraded printing. Its goal is to provide a familiar, readable skeleton with an instantly recognizable distressed finish for thematic, story-driven typography.

Distress is applied consistently across uppercase, lowercase, and figures, giving the font a cohesive “printed under pressure” character. The roughness is strongest along outer contours and at serif tips, producing a convincing analog noise that becomes more apparent at larger sizes while remaining readable in short passages.
