This typeface presents a high-contrast serif structure with slender hairlines and fuller, gently swelling main strokes. Serifs are crisp and lightly bracketed, while many stroke endings broaden into subtle flares that give the forms a sculpted, calligraphic finish. Capitals are stately and compact with sharp internal joins and clean, tapered horizontals; rounded letters show pronounced thick–thin modulation and smooth, controlled curves. The lowercase keeps a traditional proportion and rhythm, with a compact, two-storey “g” and a narrow “r,” and the numerals follow the same dramatic contrast, producing a polished, print-oriented texture.

It performs best in display and editorial contexts—magazine headlines, pull quotes, title pages, and premium branding—where the contrast and flared terminals can be appreciated. It can also work for short passages at comfortable sizes, particularly in high-quality print or high-resolution digital settings where fine hairlines remain clear.

The overall tone is poised and luxurious, balancing classical bookish authority with a fashion-forward sheen. Its sharp contrasts and flared endings add drama and sophistication, creating a sense of curated refinement rather than casual friendliness.

The design appears aimed at delivering a modernized classic serif voice: dramatic contrast, crisp finishing, and controlled flares that echo broad-nib calligraphy while staying clean and contemporary. It prioritizes elegance and impact for typographic moments that need a cultivated, upscale presence.

In text, the strong modulation creates a lively sparkle along baselines and curves, with thin connections and delicate details that read most confidently when given adequate size and clean reproduction. The design’s distinctive flare behavior is consistent across letters and numerals, helping headlines feel cohesive and intentional.
