A slanted calligraphic serif with flowing, pen-like stroke modulation and gently tapered terminals. Letterforms are narrow-to-moderate in footprint with lively rhythm and subtly irregular, hand-drawn energy while remaining consistently constructed. Serifs are delicate and often bracketed, with soft entry/exit strokes and occasional hooked or curved terminals (notably in J, f, y, and z). Counters stay open and rounded, and curves in C, G, O, and Q feel smooth and controlled; diagonals (V, W, X) are crisp but slightly softened by the calligraphic taper. Numerals follow the same italic, old-style spirit, with curving forms and modest contrast that keeps them readable at text sizes.

It performs well in editorial settings for introductions, pull quotes, and short-to-medium passages where an elegant italic texture is beneficial. It also suits invitations, certificates, and brand applications that need a formal handwritten feel, as well as packaging and labels that benefit from a crafted, premium tone.

The tone is elegant and human, suggesting cultivated handwriting rather than strict book typography. It feels historical and literary—appropriate for expressive text where a personal, refined voice is desired. The overall impression is graceful and slightly romantic without becoming overly ornamental.

The design appears intended to capture the character of formal handwritten italics—balancing calligraphic contrast and lively terminals with enough consistency for practical reading. It prioritizes graceful rhythm and a polished, human voice over strict geometric regularity.

The lowercase shows a gentle, continuous forward motion with varied terminal shapes that create texture across lines. Capitals are relatively restrained and readable, acting more like formal italic caps than display swashes, which helps the font maintain clarity in longer passages.
