This italic serif has a gently calligraphic construction with flowing entry and exit strokes and softly bracketed serifs. Strokes show a controlled, moderate thick–thin modulation, with rounded joins and tapered terminals that keep the texture light and even. Proportions are compact in the lowercase, with relatively small x-height and long, elegant extenders; capitals are open and slightly narrow with a steady rightward slant. The numerals and punctuation follow the same angled, pen-like rhythm, maintaining a cohesive, bookish color in text.

Well suited for book interiors, essays, and other editorial settings where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, quotations, or secondary hierarchy. It can also work for formal invitations or packaging copy when a traditional, refined italic texture is desired, especially at text and subheadline sizes.

The overall tone is classic and cultivated, suggesting traditional editorial typography and a measured, scholarly voice. Its slanted, pen-informed forms add a graceful sense of motion without becoming decorative, giving it a refined, established character.

The design appears intended as a conventional text italic: readable and disciplined, but with enough calligraphic detail to feel warm and traditional. Its compact lowercase and moderated contrast prioritize an even paragraph texture while preserving an elegant, classical tone.

Curves are smooth and slightly tensioned, and many letters end in subtle teardrop-like or tapered finishes that enhance the handwritten impression. Spacing and rhythm appear oriented toward continuous reading, with a consistent italic angle across capitals, lowercase, and figures.
