A decorative, upright serif design with lightly flared terminals and a calligraphic, hand-cut feel. Strokes are mostly solid but are interrupted by irregular internal cut-outs and inline-like openings that create a hollowed, carved texture throughout the letterforms. Curves and joins are slightly uneven, with varied counters and occasional wedge-like notches that give the set a lively, organic rhythm. Capitals read sturdy and classical in silhouette, while lowercase forms feel more whimsical, with single-storey shapes and a gently bouncy baseline impression.

Best suited to display sizes where the interior cut-outs can be appreciated: headlines, posters, invitations, packaging, and book or album covers. It can also work for short bursts of text (taglines, pull quotes) when set with comfortable tracking and adequate size, but the textured interiors may feel busy in long body copy.

The inline cut-outs and roughened interior texture give the font a playful macabre character—somewhere between vintage curiosity-shop signage and storybook display lettering. It feels crafty and theatrical rather than polished, projecting a mischievous, slightly eerie charm.

The design appears intended to merge a traditional serif skeleton with an intentionally distressed, hollowed detail, creating an illustrative inline effect that reads as carved or punched through the strokes. The goal seems to be strong silhouette legibility paired with a distinctive decorative texture for attention-grabbing typography.

Spacing appears moderately open in the sample text, helping the interior cut-outs remain visible. Numerals are clear and simple in construction, matching the same carved-in texture so they sit comfortably alongside the letters.
