A high-contrast serif with crisp, sculpted letterforms and a predominantly vertical axis. Strokes transition quickly from thick stems to hairline connections, with bracketed serifs and subtly flared stroke endings that give joins and terminals a carved, calligraphic feel. Uppercase proportions are stately and open, with sharp apexes (notably in A and V) and ample interior counters; the lowercase shows compact, controlled forms with a two-storey a and g and a pronounced, traditional rhythm. Numerals match the text color and contrast, with curving figures and fine hairlines that read best when given enough size and space.

Well suited to editorial typography—magazine headlines, pull quotes, and section titles—where its contrast and sharp detailing can provide hierarchy and sophistication. It also fits premium branding applications such as beauty, fashion, hospitality, and cultural institutions, and performs convincingly on posters and book covers when set with generous size and leading.

The overall tone is polished and literary, projecting a confident, fashion-forward elegance. Its strong contrast and pointed details add a sense of drama and prestige, while the classical structure keeps it grounded and formal rather than playful.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif proportions with heightened contrast and tapered, flared finishing, creating a contemporary display voice that still feels rooted in traditional book and editorial typography.

In text settings the strong thick–thin modulation creates a lively sparkle, and the hairlines and tapered terminals become key defining features. Spacing appears measured and even, supporting smooth word shapes, but the finest strokes will benefit from considerate reproduction and not-too-small sizes.
