A condensed, right-leaning serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, tapered serifs. The letterforms show a calligraphic construction: strokes narrow quickly into sharp terminals, with bracketed joins and lively curves, especially in the lower-case. Capitals are compact and upright in structure but slanted overall, with strong vertical emphasis and tightly controlled counters. Lowercase features a traditional two-storey a and g, narrow bowls, and energetic entry/exit strokes that create a continuous, fast rhythm; figures follow the same italic stress with compact widths and clean, pointed endings.

Best suited to display roles where its condensed width and dramatic contrast can work as a typographic feature—headlines, magazine and newspaper styling, book jacket titling, pull quotes, and poster typography. It can also serve as an emphatic italic companion in editorial layouts when used selectively for emphasis or short bursts of text.

The overall tone is classic and authoritative, with a dramatic, old-style elegance that feels at home in print traditions. Its steep italic slant and high-contrast strokes add urgency and sophistication, giving text a purposeful, editorial voice.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional, print-oriented serif voice in a space-efficient italic form, combining classic proportions with heightened contrast for presence. Its construction prioritizes elegance and momentum, aiming for expressive emphasis without departing from conventional serif expectations.

The dense proportions and strong modulation make the face visually impactful, while the narrow counters and sharp serifs suggest it will benefit from adequate size and spacing in longer passages. Curved letters and diagonals show a consistent forward motion, reinforcing a cohesive italic rhythm across caps, lowercase, and numerals.
