A high-contrast serif with very slim hairlines and sharply swelling verticals, drawn with an upright, condensed stance. Stems frequently end in forked, thorn-like terminals and small mid-stem spurs, creating a pricked, ornamental silhouette rather than conventional bracketed serifs. Curves are taut and slightly angular, with narrow apertures and pointed joins that emphasize a vertical rhythm. The lowercase is compact with a notably small x-height and tall ascenders, while capitals feel narrow and formal, relying on dramatic stroke modulation and tapered ends for character.

Best suited to headlines and short display lines where its forked terminals and high-contrast detailing can be appreciated. It works well for book covers, film or event posters, and branding or packaging that aims for an antique, Gothic, or magical atmosphere. For longer passages, it will read most comfortably at generous sizes with ample spacing.

The overall tone is darkly elegant and slightly uncanny—evoking Gothic signage, spellbook titles, or Victorian-era display printing. Its sharp spurs and needle-like details add tension and theatrics, giving even simple words a ceremonial, storybook flavor. The mood reads more mysterious and dramatic than friendly or neutral.

The design appears intended as a characterful display serif that merges condensed, formal proportions with ornamental, spurred finishing strokes. Its focus is on creating a distinctive silhouette and a dramatic rhythm rather than quiet, everyday readability.

In text settings the spurred terminals and very fine hairlines create a lively sparkle, but the narrow build and ornate endings make the texture busy at smaller sizes. The numerals and capitals carry the same thorned finish, reinforcing a consistent, decorative voice across alphanumerics.
