A delicate serif with subtly flared stroke endings and tapered terminals that give the outlines a gently calligraphic feel. Strokes remain mostly even, but the joins and terminals introduce soft modulation, keeping the texture light and open on the page. Capitals are clean and proportioned with rounded bowls and restrained, fine serifs; the uppercase forms feel composed rather than ornate. Lowercase features compact, tidy shapes with a two-storey “g,” a modestly bracketed “n/m,” and slightly cupped entry/exit strokes that maintain a smooth rhythm. Numerals are thin and elegant, with curved forms that match the letterforms and a balanced, readable set at display sizes.

Best suited to editorial typography, book interiors, and magazine layouts where a refined serif texture is desired without adding visual mass. It performs especially well for headlines, pull quotes, and section openers, and can lend a tasteful, traditional finish to invitations or cultural branding when set with ample size and leading.

The overall tone is poised and cultured, suggesting traditional bookish refinement without feeling heavy or formalist. Its light touch and flared details convey a quiet sophistication suited to editorial and institutional voices. The impression is calm, measured, and slightly classical—more literary than decorative.

The design appears intended to deliver a classical serif voice with a lighter, more contemporary openness, using flared terminals to add warmth and craft. It aims for an elegant reading rhythm and a polished display presence while keeping detailing restrained and consistent across cases and numerals.

Counters are generous for the weight, which helps prevent the very light strokes from clogging in larger text. Round letters (C, O, Q) read especially smooth, while diagonals (V, W, X) are sharp but not aggressive. The ampersand and punctuation in the sample text align with the same restrained, airy character.
