This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with hairline horizontals and tapered, bracketed serifs. Curves are smooth and full, while joins and terminals feel carefully chiseled, creating a crisp rhythm at text sizes. Uppercase forms read stately and balanced with moderate proportions, and lowercase keeps a traditional, readable structure with a two-storey “a” and “g” and compact, precise apertures. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with elegant strokes and fine finishing details that keep the set visually consistent.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazines, book interiors, and long-form reading where a traditional serif voice is desired. It also performs effectively in display applications—headlines, pull quotes, and refined branding—where its high-contrast detailing can be shown clearly.

The overall tone is polished and bookish, leaning toward classic print refinement rather than utilitarian neutrality. Its sharp contrast and neat finishing give it a cultured, editorial voice suited to serious or upscale messaging.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-contrast text serif that blends classical proportions with crisp, contemporary drawing. It aims to deliver an authoritative, literary texture in paragraphs while providing elegant, attention-getting forms for titles and prominent typographic moments.

At larger sizes the hairlines and sharp serifs become a defining feature, giving a bright, engraved-like sparkle; in dense settings, the thin strokes may read delicate compared with the strong verticals. Spacing appears even and controlled in the sample text, supporting continuous reading while preserving a distinctly formal presence.
