A high-contrast serif with sturdy verticals, tapered joins, and subtly flared stroke endings that give stems a gently sculpted feel. Serifs are finely bracketed rather than blunt, and many letters show pointed apexes and crisp wedge-like terminals that sharpen the silhouette. Curves have a vertical stress and tight, controlled bowls, producing a clean rhythm in text while keeping a pronounced, display-ready presence at larger sizes. Numerals follow the same logic with strong thick–thin modulation and compact, elegant shapes.

Well suited to magazine headlines, book covers, and brand wordmarks where contrast and crisp serifs can carry a sophisticated voice. It can also work for pull quotes and short blocks of editorial text, especially in larger point sizes where the fine hairlines and flared finishing details remain clear.

The overall tone is confident and editorial, combining a traditional bookish foundation with a slightly theatrical, fashion-forward edge. It reads as refined and serious, with enough contrast and sharpness to feel premium and assertive in headings.

The design appears intended to modernize a classical serif model by emphasizing contrast, sharp terminals, and flared finishing touches, creating a polished display serif that still maintains a credible editorial text color.

Uppercase forms appear relatively tall with compact internal counters, and the lowercase maintains clear differentiation between similar shapes (notably the crisp, hooked terminals and the narrow, controlled curves). The sample text shows a consistent texture with distinct word shapes, while the high contrast and fine details make it most striking when given room and adequate size.
