This typeface presents a jagged, calligraphy-derived serif structure with irregular, chipped-looking contours and sharp wedge terminals. Strokes show a hand-inked rhythm: bowls and stems remain generally coherent, but edges fray into small points and notches that create a weathered silhouette. Capitals are tall and narrow with angular joins and occasional exaggerated diagonals, while the lowercase is compact with small counters and a noticeably shorter body height. Numerals follow the same broken-ink texture, keeping consistent stroke logic while varying slightly in width and curvature for a crafted, uneven feel.

Well-suited to display settings such as horror or dark-fantasy titles, game UI headers and branding, poster headlines, and themed packaging where a distressed, hand-printed atmosphere is desired. It can work for short pull quotes or scene-setting text, but extended paragraphs will be most comfortable at larger sizes due to the textured edges.

The overall tone feels occult and storybook—part gothic inscription, part worn print pulled from an old press. Its spurs and torn edges add tension and drama, suggesting folklore, ritual, and dark fantasy rather than modern neutrality.

The design appears intended to evoke an aged, hand-rendered gothic impression—maintaining recognizable serif letterforms while introducing controlled irregularity to suggest wear, ink bleed, or rough printing. It prioritizes mood and texture over strict typographic smoothness, making it an effective atmospheric display face.

In running text, the distressed detailing becomes a strong surface texture, especially at small sizes where the rough terminals visually thicken and can reduce clarity. The face reads best when given room—moderate tracking and generous line spacing help the spiky details stay distinct.
