A graceful serif italic with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a consistent rightward slant. Serifs are finely bracketed and often taper to sharp, calligraphic terminals, giving strokes a gently flared, pen-driven feel. Uppercase forms are narrow and poised with long, sweeping entry/exit strokes on letters like J, Q, and R, while the lowercase shows lively cursive construction with looped descenders (g, y) and a distinctive, curved f. Spacing appears moderately open for an italic, and the figures follow the same elegant contrast and angled stress, with slender, slightly elongated shapes.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as book jackets, chapter openers, pull quotes, and magazine features where an elegant italic voice is desired. It can also serve effectively in formal communications—event programs, invitations, and refined branding—especially at display sizes where the delicate terminals and high contrast read clearly.

The font conveys a cultured, editorial tone—polished and expressive without becoming ornate. Its motion and contrast suggest traditional book typography and formal writing, projecting sophistication and a touch of romance.

The design appears intended to provide a classic, bookish italic with a calligraphic edge—balancing traditional serif structure with expressive, flowing terminals for emphasis and elegance in setting.

Several glyphs feature pronounced swash-like terminals (notably J, Q, and the lowercase g), which increases personality and can draw attention in titles. The ampersand is decorative and fluid, matching the overall calligraphic rhythm.
