This typeface combines a pronounced rightward slant with strong thick–thin modulation and sculpted, flared stroke endings. Serifs are sharp and wedge-like, with bracketed joins that give strokes a carved, tapered feel rather than flat terminals. Curves are generous and slightly irregular in a controlled way, producing a lively texture; counters stay fairly open, and the overall rhythm reads as energetic and forward-moving. The numerals and capitals share the same calligraphic stress and tapering, keeping the set visually cohesive in display sizes.

Best suited to display typography such as magazine headlines, posters, and book-cover titling where its contrast and flared finishing can be appreciated. It can also work for branding, packaging, and short pull quotes when you want a classic-but-expressive italic voice with strong visual momentum.

The overall tone is theatrical and punchy, with a refined, old-world sensibility. It suggests confident, headline-ready sophistication—more dramatic than quiet—while still feeling rooted in traditional print typography.

The design appears intended to translate broad-nib or calligraphic movement into a bold, contemporary display serif, emphasizing dramatic contrast and flared terminals for impact. Its consistent stress and sculpted endings aim to deliver a distinctive, premium texture in titles and prominent text.

Diagonal strokes and curved joins carry much of the personality, with visible stress and tapered entry/exit strokes that create a subtly swashed, lively silhouette. In dense settings the strong contrast and tight inner shapes can build a dark, textured color that feels intentional and display-oriented.
