A decorative display face built from sharp, chamfered strokes that give most letters an octagonal, machined silhouette. The forms mix slabby, bracketed serifs with abrupt angle breaks and small internal cut-ins that read like inline notches, producing a carved or stamped effect. Curves are largely faceted rather than smooth, with counters that often appear squared or clipped. Spacing and widths feel intentionally uneven across the set, reinforcing an improvised, irregular rhythm while keeping a consistent dark–light pattern through the angular detailing.

Best suited to short display settings—headlines, poster titles, packaging callouts, and branding marks—where its angular cuts and decorative serifs can read clearly. It can also work for themed signage or editorial titling when a deliberately odd, handcrafted-industrial texture is desired.

The overall tone is mischievous and offbeat, with a vintage-industrial flavor that suggests signage, props, or puzzle-like lettering. Its chiseled corners and little bite marks add a playful sense of motion and disruption, making it feel more like a crafted artifact than a neutral text face.

The design appears intended to reinterpret serif display lettering through a faceted, cut-metal or carved-wood lens, emphasizing angular construction and intentional irregularity for character. The repeating chamfers and notches suggest a deliberate system for creating novelty and texture while keeping recognizable letterforms.

The distinctive corner chamfers and repeated notch motif become more prominent at larger sizes; at smaller sizes those interior cut-ins can visually fill in and create texture. Numerals follow the same faceted construction, helping the design stay cohesive in headlines that mix letters and figures.
