This serif italic shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with very fine hairlines and crisp, bracketed serifs. Letterforms lean with a smooth, calligraphic rhythm: long, tapered entry strokes, gently cupped terminals, and a generally open, bookish construction. Uppercase shapes are restrained and classical, while lowercase forms show livelier cursive influence—especially in the single-storey a and g, the looping f, and the extended descenders. Numerals and capitals keep a consistent contrast and slanted stress, giving the set a cohesive, polished texture in continuous text.

It works well for long-form reading and editorial settings where an italic with strong personality is needed for emphasis, quotations, or running text. The refined contrast and classical structure also fit formal materials such as invitations, programs, and literary or cultural branding where elegance is important.

The overall tone is refined and literary, combining traditional formality with a subtle handwritten grace. It suggests editorial sophistication—more poised than casual—suited to elegant reading experiences and upscale communication.

The design appears intended as a traditional text serif italic that balances classical proportions with a distinctly calligraphic stroke logic. Its goal is to provide an expressive but controlled italic voice for sophisticated typography.

In text, the spacing and slanted rhythm create a fluid line, with distinctive italic gestures in letters like k, x, y, and z. Delicate hairlines and sharp joins give it a precise, high-end feel, while the lively lowercase prevents the color from becoming overly rigid.
