This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with crisp hairlines and largely vertical stress, giving it a polished, high-contrast silhouette. Serifs are fine and sharp with subtle flaring at stroke endings, and many joins resolve into tapered wedge-like transitions rather than blunt brackets. Capitals feel stately and sculpted, with ample counters and a measured rhythm; diagonals (V, W, X) stay clean and pointed. The lowercase mixes delicate entry strokes with sturdier stems, featuring a two-storey a and g and a notably calligraphic, looped ampersand; numerals follow the same contrasty logic with elegant curves and thin hairline connections.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, subheads, magazine layouts, and brand marks where its contrast and hairline details can be appreciated. It also works well for premium packaging and cultural or arts-oriented posters; for longer passages it will be most comfortable when set with generous size and spacing to preserve the fine details.

The overall tone is luxurious and formal, with a fashion-and-magazine kind of refinement. Its sharp hairlines and flared finishing strokes create a sense of drama without becoming ornamental, reading as confident, premium, and slightly theatrical in larger sizes.

The letterforms appear designed to deliver a contemporary, high-end serif with classic roots: strong contrast, crisp hairlines, and subtly flared endings that add sophistication and a distinctive signature. The overall system prioritizes elegance and impact in display and editorial contexts while keeping forms recognizable and disciplined.

In text settings the strong contrast creates a lively shimmer, especially where hairline serifs and thin joins repeat across a line. The design balances crisp geometry with occasional soft terminals, which helps keep it from feeling overly mechanical while still maintaining a high-end editorial voice.
