This typeface is a high-contrast italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and tapered, calligraphic joins. Serifs are sharply bracketed and often end in pointed or teardrop terminals, giving strokes a crisp, sculpted finish. The letterforms show a lively, handwritten influence within a formal serif structure: angled stress, sweeping entry strokes, and energetic curves, especially in the lowercase. Proportions feel traditional, with generous extenders and a rhythm that alternates between compact counters and broad, open curves in round letters.

It performs best where expressive italics are desired: magazine and editorial headlines, pull quotes, book and film titling, and brand systems that want a classic yet stylish voice. The strong contrast and animated forms also suit formal announcements and invitation-style materials, especially at larger sizes where the details and terminals can be appreciated.

The overall tone is refined and expressive, pairing classic bookish authority with a distinctly dramatic, fashionable slant. It reads as confident and cultivated, with enough flourish to signal luxury or headline personality rather than neutral text utility.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif foundation with heightened italic drama—combining old-style refinement with showier, calligraphic energy for attention-grabbing typography.

Uppercase forms are sturdy and ceremonial, while the lowercase introduces more movement through curled terminals and slightly swash-like shapes (notably in letters such as a, f, g, and y). Numerals follow the same sharp, italicized cadence and look designed to sit comfortably in display settings alongside the capitals.
