A condensed decorative serif with sturdy, nearly monoline strokes and sharply modeled terminals. Serifs are small and angular—often wedge-like—with subtle bracketing that creates a carved, wood-type feel. Counters are tight and vertical, with squared-off joins and occasional notch-like corners that read as ink-trap details in heavier areas. The lowercase is compact with a relatively small x-height and short ascenders, while round letters like o, e, and c appear slightly compressed to maintain a consistent narrow rhythm. Numerals follow the same condensed build, with strong vertical stress and blunt, confident endings.

Best suited to display work where a condensed, attention-grabbing serif is needed—headlines, posters, storefront-style signage, event branding, and bold packaging labels. It performs particularly well at larger sizes where its notched corners and angular serifs remain clear and contribute to the vintage, showbill character.

The font conveys a bold, old-time display personality reminiscent of Western posters, circus bills, and early industrial signage. Its narrow stance and chiseled details give it a punchy, assertive tone, balancing nostalgia with crisp, graphic discipline.

The design appears intended to reinterpret condensed wood-type and poster-era serif lettering in a robust, modernized drawing. Its narrow proportions and sculpted terminals prioritize impact and period flavor, while the simplified stroke contrast keeps it readable and cohesive in dense headline settings.

Spacing and rhythm emphasize tall verticals, producing a tightly packed texture in text lines. The capitals feel especially architectural and sign-like, while the lowercase retains the same hard-edged styling, keeping the overall voice consistent across mixed-case settings.
