A high-contrast serif with a distinctly vertical, contemporary-classical profile. Strokes alternate between thick, solid stems and extremely fine hairlines, with sharp, tapered terminals and delicate bracketed serifs that stay light even on heavier parts of the forms. Capitals are stately and crisp, with smooth curves on C/G/O and a pointed, calligraphic feel in diagonals like V/W/X. Lowercase shows a traditional book-face structure with a two-storey a and g, narrow joins, and rounded bowls that keep counters open despite the contrast; numerals follow the same dramatic thick–thin rhythm, with teardrop-like endings on figures such as 2 and 3.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, deck copy, pull quotes, and poster titles where the high-contrast detailing can be appreciated. It also works well for fashion and luxury branding, invitations, and refined packaging, particularly in larger sizes and high-quality reproduction.

The overall tone is polished and upscale, blending magazine-style sophistication with a slightly theatrical, fashion-forward sharpness. The extreme hairlines and crisp finishing details read as premium and formal, while the lively terminals add a touch of character that keeps it from feeling purely austere.

The font appears designed to deliver a modern, high-fashion take on classic serif typography, emphasizing contrast, sharpness, and elegant proportions for impactful display and editorial use.

In text settings the thin horizontals and hairline serifs create a sparkling texture, especially in tightly spaced words and on curved letters. The design feels most at home where its contrast and fine detailing can remain intact, as those hairline elements become a defining part of the rhythm.
