A high-contrast serif with crisp, sculpted letterforms and noticeable flare as stems transition into terminals and serifs. The serifs are bracketed and wedge-like, giving strokes a tapered, calligraphic finish rather than blunt endings. Proportions feel generously spaced with open counters and a steady vertical rhythm; capitals are stately with sharp diagonals and clean joins, while lowercase forms remain readable with traditional construction and clear differentiation between similar shapes. Numerals follow the same contrasty, tapered logic, producing an elegant, print-oriented texture in text.

Well-suited to headlines and display typography where contrast and sculpted serifs can be appreciated, and strong for editorial work such as magazines and book covers. It can also support formal communications—programs, invitations, and institutional materials—where a classic, authoritative voice is desired.

The tone is poised and editorial, projecting tradition, confidence, and a slightly dramatic refinement. Its sharp contrast and flared details add a ceremonial, literary character that feels at home in cultured, heritage-leaning settings.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif conventions with a more chiseled, flared finishing, creating a refined text-and-display face that reads traditional while adding extra articulation at terminals and joins for presence.

In paragraph settings the strong thick–thin modulation creates a lively sparkle, especially around verticals and curved joins. The flared terminals help maintain distinct silhouettes at larger sizes, while the overall spacing and open apertures keep the texture from feeling cramped.
