This serif typeface shows sharply tapered, flared stroke endings and pronounced thick–thin modulation. The capitals are dignified and relatively narrow in feel, with crisp bracketed serifs and a clear vertical stress in rounded forms. Lowercase features compact proportions with a modest x-height, tight internal counters, and neatly tapered joins; details like the two-storey a and g and the compact e reinforce a traditional text-face structure. Numerals follow the same contrasty logic, with elegant curves and fine hairline connections that keep the figures lively while remaining consistent with the letterforms.

Well-suited to editorial layouts, book typography, and magazine work where a classic, high-finish serif voice is desired. It can also perform effectively for display uses such as headlines, pull quotes, and formal invitations, where its contrast and flared terminals can read as intentionally elegant.

The overall tone is refined and literary, with a quiet formality that recalls traditional printing and editorial typography. Its sharp contrast and flared finishing give it a poised, slightly ceremonial presence that reads as polished rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif reading experience with heightened refinement: strong vertical structure, expressive contrast, and flared, carefully shaped terminals that add sophistication without becoming ornate.

The rhythm in text is driven by strong verticals and delicate hairlines, producing a crisp texture at larger sizes and a more shimmering color as sizes decrease. Curves and terminals are handled with a controlled, calligraphic sensibility, avoiding blunt endings and emphasizing graceful tapering throughout.
