This typeface is a roughened serif with softly bracketed joins and subtly flared terminals. Stroke edges are irregular and slightly blobby, as if printed on absorbent paper or pulled from a worn plate, creating lively contours without breaking the overall structure. Proportions are generally broad with generous counters, and the rhythm reads like an old-style text face whose outlines have been distressed rather than cleanly drawn. Round forms stay open and readable, while verticals and serifs show the most texture and unevenness.

It works well for display settings where texture is a feature—posters, book covers, labels, and branding that wants an antique or handcrafted feel. Short passages remain legible in the sample text, but the rough edges and lively outlines will read best at moderate-to-large sizes where the distressed detail can be appreciated.

The texture lends a timeworn, handmade character that feels vintage and human rather than precise or industrial. It suggests craft, folklore, and analog printing—warm, slightly quirky, and intentionally imperfect.

The design appears intended to evoke a traditional serif text face that has been weathered by age or printing conditions, combining familiar letterforms with deliberate irregularity. The goal seems to be adding atmosphere and authenticity—an analog, slightly imperfect voice—while keeping the underlying forms readable.

Capitals have a classical serif skeleton and steady stance, while the lowercase shows more personality in the bowls and terminals. Numerals follow the same ink-worn treatment, keeping the set cohesive. The distressing is consistent across glyphs, giving a unified “printed” patina rather than random grunge.
