Letterforms are built from smooth, brush-pen–like strokes with frequent entry/exit curls and generous swashes on many capitals. The rhythm is flowing and continuous in text, while individual glyphs show distinctive, sometimes elaborate uppercase construction and simpler, narrower lowercase forms. Proportions emphasize tall ascenders and descenders, with a notably small lowercase body and compact counters, giving the line a lively, sparkling texture.
