This typeface is a tightly compressed serif with pronounced vertical emphasis and medium stroke contrast. Stems often swell as they approach the terminals, creating flared, wedge-like endings rather than flat slabs, and many joins feel slightly sculpted and ink-trap-adjacent in spirit. Counters are narrow and tall, producing a high, tense rhythm in text, while curves remain controlled and fairly upright. The lowercase shows a compact, readable x-height with distinctive, narrow bowls and a tall, straight-sided overall silhouette; figures follow the same condensed, vertical pattern.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, posters, pull quotes, magazine titles, and book covers where its condensed width and flared terminals can carry visual impact. It can work for short editorial subheads or captions when spacing is managed, but it is most effective when used to create a tall, commanding typographic column.

The overall tone is assertive and dramatic, with a classic, print-forward presence that reads as serious and slightly theatrical. Its compressed proportions and sharpened terminals give it a poster-like urgency, while the serif treatment keeps it rooted in traditional, editorial typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a condensed, high-impact serif voice with a sculpted, flared finish—combining traditional serif cues with sharper, more assertive terminals for attention-grabbing display typography.

The design relies on strong vertical strokes and tight internal spaces, so it benefits from generous tracking and line spacing as sizes increase. In longer text, the narrow counters and condensed set create dense texture, while in larger settings the flared terminals become a defining stylistic cue.
