A condensed serif with strong vertical emphasis and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Stems are heavy and straight, while joining strokes and serifs taper into fine, crisp terminals, producing a distinctly vertical rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and often beaked, and curves are tightly drawn with compact counters, giving the forms a tall, columnar silhouette. The lowercase maintains a steady x-height with relatively short extenders, and details like the angled joins and narrow apertures reinforce the dense, upright texture in text.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and prominent editorial settings where a tight measure and strong contrast are an advantage. It can work well for magazine layouts, book covers, and display typography that needs a traditional serif voice with added intensity, especially when set with comfortable tracking and generous leading.

The overall tone is classic and editorial, pairing traditional serif cues with a heightened, stage-lit contrast that feels confident and slightly theatrical. Its condensed stance reads as purposeful and space-efficient, lending an assertive, poster-like voice while still retaining a conventional serif sensibility.

The design appears intended to deliver a space-saving, high-impact serif for display and editorial use, combining familiar text-serif structure with a more dramatic contrast and condensed proportions to maximize presence in narrow widths.

In the sample text the letterfit creates a firm, dark color and a crisp baseline, with the thinnest hairlines becoming most noticeable at larger sizes. The numerals and capitals share the same tall proportions, supporting a consistent, headline-forward cadence.
