A slanted serif with a calligraphic, pen-driven construction and gently bracketed serifs. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation, with tapered entry and exit terminals that keep counters open and forms light on the page. Proportions are slightly condensed in places with lively, variable sidebearings that create a fluid rhythm, especially in lowercase. The lowercase has single-storey a and g, a looped descender on g, and a long, slightly curved f and j, contributing to an informal italic texture within a traditional serif framework.

Well suited to extended reading in editorial and book contexts where an italic with strong personality is needed for emphasis, quotations, or lead-ins. It also works for literary branding, cultural programs, and formal announcements that benefit from a refined, classic voice.

The overall tone is graceful and literary, evoking classic book typography with a softer, handwritten inflection. Its slant and tapered details add a sense of motion and elegance, suitable for expressive but still conventional reading experiences.

The design appears intended as a traditional text serif italic that balances readability with a more calligraphic, expressive cadence. Its shapes prioritize a smooth, continuous line and a refined page color, supporting both practical text composition and elevated display accents.

Uppercase forms feel restrained and traditional, while the italic movement becomes more pronounced in the lowercase and in the ampersand, which has a decorative, flowing structure. Numerals follow the same italicized, old-style-influenced rhythm, with curved forms and modest stroke endings that harmonize with text settings.
