A dense, high-impact serif with pronounced flared stroke endings and wedge-like serifs that broaden into sharp terminals. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation, with robust verticals and tapered joins that create a sculpted, chiselled feel. The forms are generously proportioned horizontally, with compact interior counters and assertive, angular cut-ins on letters like S, a, and s. The rhythm is steady and upright, with crisp edge treatment and a display-oriented texture that stays cohesive across capitals, lowercase, and figures.

Best suited to large sizes where its contrast and flared terminals can be appreciated—magazine headlines, book jackets, cultural posters, and mastheads. It can also support assertive branding moments (logotypes, packaging titles), especially where a classic-but-dramatic serif voice is desired; for long text, it will feel heavy and attention-forward.

The overall tone is traditional and emphatic—formal enough for editorial settings, yet theatrical in its contrast and sharp flare details. It conveys confidence and gravitas, with an old-style, print-minded seriousness that reads as premium and declarative in headlines.

The design appears intended as a statement serif that blends classical proportions with exaggerated flare and contrast to maximize impact. Its wide stance, compact counters, and sharp terminal detailing suggest a focus on memorable display typography that still retains a traditional editorial lineage.

Capitals have a stately presence with strong top-and-bottom emphasis (notably E, F, T) and rounded letters that feel weighty rather than airy (O, Q). The lowercase maintains clear differentiation between characters, with a two-storey a and compact, sturdy bowls; the numerals are similarly bold and attention-grabbing, favoring clear silhouettes over delicate spacing.
