A very heavy serif with pronounced contrast and sculpted, bracketed serifs that flare smoothly from the stems. Curves are generously rounded and slightly bulbous, with frequent ball terminals and teardrop-like endings (notably in lowercase forms), giving the letterforms a soft but weighty presence. Counters are relatively compact for the weight, and joins show deliberate carving and narrowing that creates a crisp, chiseled rhythm. The overall texture is dark and assertive, with lively, slightly calligraphic modulation visible in diagonals and in letters like a, g, e, and y.

Best suited to large sizes where its high-contrast detailing, bracketed serifs, and rounded terminals can be appreciated—headlines, magazine features, book covers, and branded titles. It can also work for short text blocks or pull quotes when strong typographic color and a classic, upscale voice are desired.

The tone reads bold and traditional, combining an old-style warmth with a display-forward confidence. It evokes classic editorial and heritage cues—serious and authoritative, yet softened by rounded terminals and a touch of flourish.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with amplified weight and contrast for impact, while adding distinctive, vintage-leaning character through rounded terminals and sculpted internal shaping. It aims to feel authoritative and familiar, but with enough personality to function as a signature display serif.

Uppercase shapes feel sturdy and monumental, while the lowercase introduces more personality through ball terminals, asymmetric curves, and swash-like details. Numerals are similarly weighty and high-contrast, designed to hold their own in headlines and tight layouts.
