A high-contrast serif with smooth, calligraphic modulation and pronounced thick–thin transitions. The capitals are spacious with refined, bracketed serifs and occasional flared stroke endings that taper into hairlines. Curves are crisp and controlled (notably in C, G, S), while diagonals and joins stay sharp and clean. The lowercase shows a traditional, bookish skeleton with a two-storey a and g, compact ear and terminals, and a moderate rhythm that reads comfortably in text despite the strong contrast.

Well-suited to magazine typography, headline systems, and brand identities that need a premium, literate voice. It can also serve in pull quotes and subheads, and in carefully set short-form text where its contrast and hairlines have room to breathe.

The overall tone is polished and cultivated, balancing classical book typography with a slightly dramatic, contemporary edge. Its hairline finesse and sculpted curves feel luxurious and intentional, lending a refined, editorial character rather than a utilitarian one.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif silhouette with heightened contrast and refined finishing, aiming for an upscale reading experience and strong typographic presence. Flared stroke endings and carefully bracketed serifs add personality while preserving a disciplined, editorial structure.

Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with distinctive curves and fine joins that suggest best performance at moderate to larger sizes. Round letters maintain consistent internal tension, and the design’s flaring at some stroke endings adds a subtle display-like sparkle without turning into overt ornament.
