This typeface is built from tall, extremely condensed letterforms with slender vertical stems and crisp, faceted terminals. The stroke treatment reads as pen- or nib-informed: long straight uprights dominate, while joins and curves break into sharp angles and small notches rather than smooth bowls. Capitals are narrow and architectural, with pointed tops and occasional interior slits; lowercase maintains a consistent vertical rhythm with tight counters and minimal lateral spread. Numerals follow the same austere, vertical logic, with simple outlines and pointed finishing strokes.

Best suited to display settings where its vertical drama and Gothic texture can read at larger sizes—titles, posters, branding marks, packaging accents, and editorial headers. Short phrases benefit most; extended body copy may feel compact and visually intense due to the narrow counters and tight rhythm.

The overall tone is austere and ceremonial, evoking medieval manuscript lettering and later Gothic revivals. Its sharpness and restrained ornamentation give it a mysterious, authoritative feel—more solemn and arcane than friendly or playful.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern, streamlined take on Gothic lettering—prioritizing height, sharp articulation, and an inked, hand-drawn feel while keeping ornamentation minimal. It aims to create strong atmosphere and authority through condensed proportions and crisp, faceted detailing.

Spacing appears intentionally tight and columnar, producing a strong texture when set in lines. Distinctive pointed terminals and angular inflections help maintain differentiation despite the condensed proportions, though the narrow counters can make long passages feel dense.
