This typeface is a high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced diagonal stress and sculpted, wedge-like serifs. Strokes move between hairline connections and heavy, teardrop-like thick parts, producing a crisp, engraved rhythm. Letterforms are narrow-to-moderate in their set, with lively width variation across glyphs, and many terminals end in tapered points or small ball/teardrop finishes. The lowercase shows flowing, semi-calligraphic construction with distinctive entry strokes and occasional swash-like joins (notably in w, x, y, z), while the capitals are more structured and display-like, with sharp, flared serifs and decisive diagonals.

Best suited for short to medium-length settings where contrast and motion are an asset: magazine headlines, pull quotes, book or section titles, and upscale branding. It can also work well on packaging, menus, and invitations where a formal, crafted tone is desired, especially at sizes large enough to preserve the fine hairlines.

The overall tone feels refined and theatrical, combining traditional bookish serif cues with a showy italic flourish. Its strong contrast and energetic stroke movement give it a luxe, fashion-oriented presence that reads as confident and slightly romantic rather than purely utilitarian.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic italic serif voice with heightened contrast and expressive terminals, balancing readable traditional structures with ornamental energy for display and editorial impact.

The numerals follow the same contrast and italic slant, with curving forms and pointed terminals that align with the text face rather than a separate lining figure style. Spacing in the sample text looks intentionally tight and rhythmic, helping the italic forms knit into a continuous, forward-moving texture.
