A right-leaning serif with pronounced stroke modulation and crisp, bracketed serifs that taper into sharp terminals. The letterforms are compact and vertically emphatic, with narrow counters and energetic curves that create a tight, rhythmic texture. Capitals show sculpted joins and pointed apexes, while the lowercase mixes sturdy stems with more calligraphic gestures—especially in characters like a, f, g, y, and z—where terminals curl or sweep. Numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic, with open bowls and thin connecting strokes that keep the overall color lively and refined.

Well-suited to headlines, magazine features, and display-led editorial typography where contrast and italic movement are an advantage. It can also work for packaging, book covers, and brand systems that want a classic serif voice with added drama, especially at medium to large sizes.

The font reads as dramatic and cultivated, combining classic bookish authority with an expressive, fashion-forward slant. Its sharp serifs and energetic terminals add a sense of motion and confidence, giving text an assertive, editorial tone rather than a quiet, purely utilitarian one.

The design intention appears to be a conventional serif foundation pushed toward a more expressive, calligraphic italic for strong presence and personality in display and editorial settings. It balances traditional proportions with sharpened details and tapered serifs to create a distinctive, high-energy texture.

The design relies on strong thick–thin transitions, so spacing and line breaks will noticeably affect the texture: tight settings feel dense and emphatic, while a bit of extra tracking lets the italic gestures and tapered serifs breathe. The most characterful impression comes through in mixed-case text, where the italic flow and terminal shapes are especially apparent.
