A condensed serif design with extreme thick–thin modulation and long, tapering terminals that read like pinched ink or blade-like cuts. Strokes are predominantly vertical with delicate hairlines and occasional curved, calligraphic joins, while many terminals break into sharp spur-like points and slight irregular nicks. The overall rhythm is tall and airy, with small lowercase bodies and prominent ascenders/descenders that add a wiry texture to lines of text. Numerals and capitals follow the same high-contrast, tapering construction, keeping a consistent, brittle silhouette across the set.

Best suited to display settings where the sharp contrast and distressed terminals can be appreciated—title treatments, chapter openers, posters, packaging, and themed branding. It pairs well with minimal layouts and ample tracking, and works particularly effectively when used sparingly as a headline or logo-style wordmark.

The tone is theatrical and ominous, blending Victorian display elegance with a distressed, haunted edge. Its spiky terminals and worn details suggest dark fantasy, folklore, and gothic ornament rather than polished editorial refinement.

The design appears intended to evoke a gothic, storybook atmosphere through condensed proportions, high-contrast serifs, and deliberate wear-like cuts. Its decorative spikes and wiry curves prioritize mood and silhouette over long-form comfort, aiming for memorable, dramatic display impact.

Several letters feature exaggerated hooks, teardrop-like thin curves, and needle points that create strong sparkle at large sizes but can fragment at small sizes. The distressed detailing appears integrated into the outlines rather than applied as an even texture, giving each glyph a slightly scratched, aged character.
