A textured, hand-drawn roman with monolinear strokes that read as beaded or stippled along the outlines, creating a consistently rough edge. Forms are upright and generally simple, with gently wobbly curves and slightly uneven terminals that mimic ink bleed or a distressed print. Counters stay fairly open and the overall construction remains legible, but the surface noise and irregular rhythm give the letterforms a jittery, imperfect finish. The texture is applied uniformly across capitals, lowercase, and numerals, producing a cohesive “aged” impression rather than isolated decorative effects.

Well suited to horror and thriller titling, Halloween and seasonal promotions, and any design needing an aged, uncanny tone. It can work for short paragraphs in atmospheric contexts (blurbs, captions, in-world notes), but it performs best at display sizes where the textured edge reads as intentional distress rather than noise.

The font conveys an eerie, homemade mood—more unsettling and storybook-strange than overtly aggressive. Its speckled strokes and unstable edges suggest old documents, cryptic notes, or artifacts from a dusty archive, adding tension and atmosphere without sacrificing readability.

The design appears intended to simulate a distressed, hand-rendered print texture—like inked lettering that has degraded over time—while keeping familiar roman proportions for broad legibility. Its consistent stippling and controlled construction suggest a deliberate balance between usability and a haunted, artifact-like character.

In longer text the stippled perimeter becomes the dominant visual signature, so spacing and line length benefit from a bit of breathing room. Rounded letters (like O/C/e) emphasize the granular contour, while straight strokes (like E/F/T) accent the slightly shaky baseline and terminal variation.
