A high-contrast italic serif with sharply tapered hairlines and weight concentrated in the main stems, giving it a distinctly Didone-like rhythm. The defining feature is a clean inline cut through the strokes that reads as a continuous highlight, producing a hollowed, engraved effect without breaking the letterforms’ structure. Forms are narrow and briskly slanted, with crisp, wedge-like serifs and tight apertures that keep the texture lively. The lowercase shows a relatively short x-height against taller ascenders, and the numerals follow the same slanted, ornamental construction.

Best suited for display settings such as headlines, logotypes, invitations, packaging, and poster typography where the inline engraving can be appreciated. It works well for premium or ceremonial themes and short phrases, and is less suited to dense body text where the delicate hairlines and internal cuts may soften.

The overall tone is luxurious and showy, like a formal script–serif hybrid meant to be seen rather than quietly read. The inline detailing adds a sense of craftsmanship and spectacle, evoking engraved signage, fashion editorial typography, and vintage display lettering.

The design appears intended to merge a formal italic serif structure with an ornamental, engraved inline treatment, creating an upscale display face that feels classic yet attention-grabbing. Its proportions and contrast emphasize elegance and motion, while the internal carving adds a distinctive signature for branding and titling.

The inline channel stays consistent across curves and diagonals, creating a strong internal rhythm that remains visible even in heavier strokes. Because the hairlines get extremely fine, the face reads best when given enough size and contrast so the interior carving doesn’t visually fill in.
