A slanted, high-contrast calligraphic serif with a broad, confident footprint and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Strokes show a consistent oblique stress, with sharp hairlines, weighty main stems, and tapered entry/exit strokes that often finish in teardrop or beaked terminals. Serifs are bracketing and sometimes flourish into small swashes, giving capitals an engraved, display-like presence while lowercase maintains a rhythmic, forward-leaning flow. Counters are generally open and the letterforms are slightly expanded, supporting clear word shapes at larger sizes.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, titles, pull quotes, and short passages where its contrast and flourished terminals can be appreciated. It can add a premium, traditional feel to invitations, editorial covers, packaging, and brand wordmarks, but will be less comfortable for long body text at small sizes due to the fine hairlines and energetic shapes.

The overall tone is formal and expressive, with a poised, old-world sophistication. It reads as theatrical and ceremonial—suited to storytelling, invitations, or brand marks that want tradition with a touch of flourish.

The design appears intended to evoke formal calligraphy translated into a bold, print-ready italic, pairing classic serif structure with decorative terminals for strong shelf impact. Its expanded proportions and emphatic contrast suggest a focus on expressive display settings rather than neutral reading texture.

Capitals carry the strongest ornamentation, with several letters showing pronounced curved terminals and decorative joins that create a lively baseline rhythm. Numerals are similarly italicized and high-contrast, with distinctive curves and tapered ends that match the letterforms, helping maintain stylistic consistency in headings and short numeric settings.
