This typeface is an extremely delicate italic with hairline strokes and a noticeably horizontal, open stance. Serifs read as small slab-like terminals that end cleanly and squarely, giving the forms a crisp finish despite the light weight. Curves are smooth and generously drawn, with subtle swelling at turns rather than strong contrast, and counters stay open in letters like C, G, and e. The rhythm is calm and slightly formal, with moderate spacing and a consistent forward slant across both capitals and lowercase.

Best suited to display settings where its fine strokes can remain intact: editorial headlines, pull quotes, book and magazine titling, upscale branding, and formal stationery. It can also work for short text passages at comfortable sizes with ample leading, but is likely to lose presence at very small sizes or in low-resolution reproduction.

The overall tone feels refined and quietly dramatic—more bookish than flashy, with a cultured, editorial voice. Its thin, sweeping italics and precise terminals suggest sophistication and restraint, lending a poetic, high-end atmosphere to short passages.

The design appears intended to provide a modern, minimalist take on an italic serif with crisp slab-like terminals—aiming for an elevated, literary look that feels contemporary through its lightness and openness.

Capitals are tall and graceful, with restrained decorative flourishes (notably in Q and J) that add personality without becoming ornate. The lowercase has a flowing, single-storey feel in a and g, and long ascenders/descenders that enhance the italic motion. Numerals are similarly light and elegant, suited to display rather than dense tables.
