A very light slab serif with crisp, unbracketed rectangular serifs and a clean, even rhythm. Strokes are slender and consistent, with open apertures and generous internal space that keep counters clear in both text and display sizes. The uppercase set feels stately and measured, while the lowercase shows traditional, readable forms (including a two-storey “g” and a double-storey “a”), and numerals are similarly light and elegant with simple, unobtrusive detailing. Overall spacing appears comfortable and slightly airy, reinforcing a poised, print-oriented texture.

Well-suited to editorial design where a light, polished slab serif can add structure and sophistication—such as magazine layouts, book interiors, and pull quotes. It also works effectively for headlines and refined branding where a crisp serif presence is desired without the density of heavier slabs.

The typeface conveys a quiet, cultivated tone—more literary than loud—combining a classic editorial feel with a gentle, contemporary restraint. Its thin, crisp serifs suggest refinement and seriousness without becoming heavy or overly ornamental.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern, lightweight take on an unbracketed slab serif: preserving the squared serif character for definition and authority while keeping the overall color delicate for elegant reading and restrained display typography.

The slab terminals stay visually firm despite the light weight, giving lines a subtle horizontal emphasis. In the sample text, the uniform stroke color and open forms help maintain clarity across long passages, while the delicate serifs add definition at word boundaries and in all-caps settings.
