A heavy, inked blackletter with compact, angular construction and sharply notched terminals. Strokes show a calligraphic, broken-pen feel: thick verticals and sturdy diagonals are interrupted by carved counters, wedge-like joins, and small spur details that create a crisp, chiseled silhouette. Uppercase forms are highly embellished with pronounced curves and internal cut-ins, while the lowercase is more rhythmically regular, with narrow stems, pointed shoulders, and occasional hooked ascenders/descenders. Numerals follow the same rugged, blackletter logic, with chunky bodies and distinctive, slightly irregular contours that reinforce a hand-made impression.

Best suited to display typography such as posters, mastheads, logos/wordmarks, album or game titles, and heritage-forward packaging and labels. It performs well when given space, generous tracking, and solid contrast against the background; for longer text, larger sizes help preserve the interior detailing and prevent counters from filling in.

The font projects a traditional Gothic tone—ceremonial, authoritative, and historic. Its dense texture and sharp detailing feel at home in medieval or ecclesiastical contexts, with an assertive presence that reads as formal and dramatic rather than casual.

The design appears intended to evoke classic manuscript and print blackletter traditions with a bold, carved look, balancing ornate capitals with a more repetitive lowercase rhythm for settable titles. The slight irregularity in contours and terminals suggests a hand-rendered character aimed at atmosphere and authenticity over minimalism.

Texture is intentionally busy: many letters include interior apertures and bite-shaped cutouts that increase sparkle at display sizes but can close up when set too small. The uppercase set is especially decorative and visually dominant, making mixed-case typography feel strongly headline-oriented.
