A high-contrast italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and tapered, wedge-like serifs. Letterforms lean with a consistent forward slant and a smooth, calligraphic rhythm, showing teardrop/ball terminals in places and finely sharpened entry and exit strokes. Capitals are wide and open with crisp internal counters, while lowercase forms are compact and fluid, with single-storey italic structures and lively, curved descenders. Figures follow the same italic axis and contrast, giving the numerals a graceful, slightly written feel rather than rigid geometry.

Well suited for editorial design, book interiors, and long-form typography where an italic is used for emphasis, titles, or pull quotes. It can also perform effectively in refined branding, packaging, and invitations where a classic, cultivated italic voice is desired, especially at medium to larger sizes.

The overall tone is polished and literary, evoking traditional book typography and formal editorial voice. Its crisp contrast and flowing italic movement lend it a cultivated, slightly dramatic presence suited to expressive emphasis rather than neutral utility.

Designed to provide a traditional, readable italic with a distinctly calligraphic edge—balancing classical serif conventions with expressive stroke endings and a lively, handwritten cadence. The intent appears to be an elegant companion for text settings that also has enough character to stand on its own in display moments.

Spacing appears moderately generous in text, helping the delicate hairlines read cleanly, while the strong diagonals and tapered joins create an energetic texture across lines. The ampersand is notably ornamental and calligraphic, reinforcing the display-leaning character within an otherwise text-oriented serif style.
