A sharply modeled serif with pronounced stroke contrast and crisp, triangular wedge-like serifs that flare subtly at terminals. Curves are smooth and spacious, with a slightly vertical axis and clean join behavior; counters remain open even as hairlines get very fine. Capitals feel stately and evenly proportioned, while the lowercase shows a measured rhythm with restrained curves and small, precise details (notably in r, a, and e). Numerals are elegant and set with old-style sensibility in their thin-to-thick modulation and open forms, contributing to an overall polished, print-oriented texture.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazines, book jackets, and sophisticated headlines where contrast and detail can read clearly. It also fits invitations, programs, and brand materials that need a formal, cultured tone, especially at display sizes and for short text runs.

The overall tone is poised and cultivated—more bookish and editorial than flashy—evoking traditional publishing, cultural institutions, and premium branding. Its crisp contrast and tapered terminals convey precision and taste, while the generous curves keep it from feeling brittle.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, high-end reading and display experience, combining traditional serif construction with sharpened, flared terminals for a contemporary crispness. Its proportions and controlled rhythm suggest a focus on elegant typography for publishing and refined communication.

Large sizes show off the fine hairlines and sculpted terminals particularly well, and the rhythm in running text appears even and controlled. The letterforms lean on classical proportions and measured spacing rather than overt quirks, creating a dependable, composed voice.
