A high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced rightward slant and sculpted, flaring stroke endings. Thick verticals and diagonals are paired with very fine hairlines, producing crisp transitions and a lively diagonal rhythm. Serifs are compact and often wedge-like, with subtly bracketed joins that give strokes a carved, tapering feel rather than blunt terminals. Uppercase forms read steady and slightly condensed in their inner counters, while the lowercase shows energetic entry/exit strokes and a clear, moderate x-height that keeps the texture open despite the strong contrast.

Best suited to headlines, cover typography, and editorial titling where the italic energy and contrast can be appreciated at larger sizes. It also works well for pull quotes or short emphasized passages, especially in literary, cultural, or formal contexts where a classic serif voice is desired.

The overall tone feels traditional and bookish, with a distinctly dramatic, old-style elegance. Its sharp hairlines and tapered terminals add a touch of ceremony and refinement, making the voice feel authoritative and slightly theatrical rather than casual.

The design appears intended to combine a classical italic serif foundation with more expressive, flared terminals to heighten contrast and motion. It aims for a refined, attention-getting texture that feels rooted in traditional typography while reading as assertive and display-forward.

The numerals and caps maintain the same chiseled contrast and italic momentum, giving mixed settings a cohesive, forward-moving texture. In longer lines, the strong slant and contrast create a rhythmic sparkle that favors display and short-form emphasis over quiet, neutral reading.
