A slab-serif, typewriter-like design with sturdy, blocky letterforms and rounded terminals. Strokes are consistently heavy and low-contrast, but the contours are intentionally irregular: edges look chipped and wavy, counters show small bites and speckling, and some joins appear slightly swollen as if from ink spread or worn metal type. Spacing and widths vary modestly across glyphs, creating a lively rhythm while maintaining clear, familiar skeletons and readable proportions. Numerals and capitals share the same distressed texture, producing a cohesive, printed-but-imperfect texture across the set.

Best suited for display settings where texture is desirable: posters, headlines, title sequences, album artwork, and packaging that wants an aged or handmade print impression. It can also work for short passages or pull quotes when set with generous size and leading to preserve clarity.

The overall tone is analog and tactile, evoking aged print, carbon copies, and rough presswork. The distress adds a gritty, lived-in character that feels industrial and archival rather than polished or corporate.

The design appears intended to capture the recognizable structure of classic slab/typewriter forms while layering in wear, ink spread, and printing imperfections to create an intentionally imperfect, analog look.

The texture reads as repeated, consistent wear rather than random scribble, suggesting a deliberate “damaged imprint” effect. At small sizes the roughened edges can visually darken and soften details, while at medium-to-large sizes the speckling and chipped contours become a defining graphic feature.
