A heavy, slab-serif letterform with compact, sturdy proportions and a visibly eroded surface. Strokes are thick and mostly monolinear in feel, with squared terminals and chunky serifs that read as worn down rather than crisp. Edges show irregular chipping and ink spread, and several counters appear partially filled or scarred, creating a blotty, letterpress-like texture. Spacing and widths vary across glyphs, adding a slightly uneven rhythm that reinforces the rough-printed character.

Best suited to short, high-impact text where the texture can be appreciated—posters, headlines, titles, badges, and logo wordmarks. It also fits packaging and label-style graphics that benefit from a stamped or letterpress impression. For long passages or small sizes, the filled-in counters and rough edges may reduce clarity.

The overall tone is rugged and timeworn, evoking old posters, stamped labels, and imperfect printing. The distressed texture gives it a gritty, noir-leaning presence while the rounded blots and exaggerated serifs keep it approachable and a bit playful. It feels loud, tactile, and intentionally imperfect.

The design appears intended to mimic rugged print artifacts—worn type, over-inked forms, and chipped edges—while keeping the underlying structure strong and readable. Its broad slabs and heavy weight create immediate impact, with the distress providing personality and a tactile, analog feel.

The distress pattern is consistent enough to read as a deliberate texture rather than random damage, and it remains legible at display sizes. Numerals are bold and attention-grabbing, matching the alphabet’s chunky silhouette and worn counters.
